well the problem is ..... a few years back i used to get the startrek mag in england and they once had a competition where you could win a tricorder that mesured things like atmospheric pressure and blah blah blah, anyway suprise suprise i did not win but now i am in the situation to buy one the only problem is i kneed to know where to get it , who made it or even the web address for the startrek mag. any help would be nice guys. thanks once again

I remember it...it looked like a tricorder but didn't fold in half like one. Have no clue where you could find it though...and I don't remember where I saw it. Might have been Starlog since I think it was so long ago it pre-dated my net usage.
