That's right, I said "else"...I get to go to E3 this year!  Woohoo!  As an employee of a video game retailer, I have the option of attending the event, and a few other people from nearby stores are going too.  So we're gonna roadtrip to LA and have a ball.  Anyone else from here going?  It'd be cool to get together, at least to say hi.  I know Speedy went in the past.

E3 is a trade event...usually the only people who are invited are the media (Filesnetwork, host of the ***Files.com sites, qualifies as media, thus why Speed can go), or those directly affiliated with video game companies or video game companies themselves.  I think Fatal is the manager of a Gamestop though (IIRC), so he might of gotten special treatment.

I would go (I have the Filesnetwork credentials as well), but I'm not old enough.  Danged E3 organizers have a strict "No one under 18 allowed" rule.  

If you don't want to be banned upon your return, you must bring back at least 5 pictures of hot Japanese booth babes.

I know someone going to the final fantasy concert, but thats all they are going for as they can't get into E3.

See I'm not sure if they'll let me take my digicam in.  But I did hear that once you get one in, they just assume that it's supposed to be there.  But if I can get my camera in, I promise pics of boothbabes.  As well as some of that video game stuff that's supposedly gonna be there.
