Hello guys, I pc that would like to upgrade. I was thinking of going with a laptop so I can use for work and gaming. Any suggestions on a good laptops that you may be using at the time? Or should I just stay away? thks

um Alienware... and Dell makes an amazing 1 too. just 2 tell u, tru gaming laptops don't come cheap.

well but what i mean by a true gaming laptop would probably be something as good as a higher end desktop... the video cards and battery limitations make this very difficult, but they are very close... when u look into a alienware area 51-m.. i think its currently using the 9700 pro mobile, or 9600 xt, i forgot. and those cards on the desktop r amazing rite now. i haven't had a chance to see personally the performance wit a laptop, but i'm sure its pretty #### close!

Thanks guys.....I did look at Alienware Area 51 laptop with the green skin . Then I saw the price tag on it and fell off my chair... I think I will stick with an upgrade to the desktop, but you never know........ rui

New laptops are great for playing games - sure the gfx cards aint as strong as some available in full PC's, but the games will run well... best advice I can give regarding laptops - GET ONE WITH A GREAT WARRANTY, or make sure your house insurance covers it. Its gonna break at some point.

lol tru, get an extended warranty if u plan on keeping it for awhile... its really unfortunate if ur laptop breaks and ur warranty just expired lolz
