I finaly got the game working.
In the mission in the jungle and I keep getting killed.
When I search for cheats the pages say "Shift + ~" to bring up the console.
It doesn't work one bit for me.
When I press shift I crouch and when I press ~ holding shift it doesn't bring up any console at all.
I bought SoF2 Double Helix Gold.
My shortcut to the SP looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix GOLD\SoF2.exe" +set com_multilingual 2 +set sp_language 0 +set setrandom sv_cheats 1

wrong forum but try just hitting ~ by itself with out the shift key

Hmm when i played SP i just hit left shift+the key directly under escape whatever it's called

its called the tilde key...
