=\ I got back my SoF2 from a friends a few days ago and I keep getting this md5 tool textures1234.pk3 file mismatch in multiplayer. I noticed the file size was different, like the size installed in my computer was about 96 while the one on disk 2 was larger, so I manually dragged textures1234.pk3 into my base folder and it stops copying like 2/3rds of the way I've tried installin' it on my friends computer again and he gets the same problem! When I first installed SoF2 a few days ago I never had any problems. Both disks have no sign of scratches or anything foreign looking. So what are my options? Thanks.

If you got your receipt, you could send the disk to raven... I think they will replace it (I'm not sure tho).. give them a quick email and find out.

That is caused by having a Dirty, Damaged or Copied disk. Look in the Manual under the Limited Warranty section (right near the back) for details on how to get a replacement disk from Activision and its cost* *In the UK it's the same as to buy it new

It says that if my copy of the game has defects within 90 days they'll give me a fresh copy... Ok, I've had my game for much longer then that It also says that I need a reciept for proof of purchase, what the crap is that? I never keep reciepts, was 15 when I bought this game(16 now). Why can't I just give em the dvd case with the disks and manual? That's more then enough for proof, isn't it? Aw whatever, it says within 90 days of purchase, so I'm left with a broken game now because disk2 is messed up, even though my unique cdkey is still valid. So I can't do a thing now?

Is the cd scratched or not? A lot of ppl have problems with that pk3, but usually a good cleaning of the cd solves the problem...
