Just learn that the moon has some of the best energical reserve... (Just read that in a science news paper)

The moon has plenty of Helium-3 isotope on the surface.
That isotope is rarely seen on earth, because the sun (The only natural production of that isotope) can't really send them to the surface, they are deflected by the atmosphere.
However, the moon keep receiving it.

On current market, one metric tone (1000Kg) of H-3 worth 4.3 billion US$!
It would need only around 4 tone to make all the electricity the whole Europe need of a whole year. Around 20 tones would be enough to power the whole planet!

Seam Bush and China both know that, and many investor look at the moon with avid eyes.

Finally, some ressources that would push the space exploration, like the gold push the ocean exploration hundred years ago.

I read somewhere that the helium-3 on the moon is being looked at as an energy source for any 'return to earth' trip the next time we head to the moon.

The 21st century is amazing. We are learning how music can help power our lives.

Sorry, I don't have link since it was science news paper... Maybe I should buy/scan the article... But it's in French. :p

@Madmanfrommars : What are you talking about? ??? Is it because I misspell "tonne"?
