If you have any compassion, Harry, you'll tell me it was the janitor.

Heh, just look at your avatar, for a very long time...

Easy solution to power needs. Hydorgen cell cars, then save fuel for power plants. (and NASCAR races)

Err... No. The minimun energy need to start up the reaction is still to high for "common" use. I don't think you have a car that can produce and support over 10-20 thousand degres C...
It's still really lower than the million of degres needed to start up the "cold" fusion.

This is a very old topic.  I remember reading about this at least 20 yrs ago.

While there is the question of the dificulty of extracting the H3 out of the moon's surface, that is not biggest obtacle.  Getting the H3 back to earth in usable quantities is extremely expensive.  Now, if one can overcome the thing that make that expensive (escaping moon's gravity well, getting it back to earth in usable form in large wauntities - or finding way to generate the energy in orbit and transmit the electricity to earth, etc), then it becomes a better situation.  However, IF one does overcome those obstacles, then Jupiter becomes a MUCH better resource H3 because it has a huge supply of H3 in what would be essentially unlimited amounts (ie large quantities are fairly easy to come by and can be extracted without seeming end).

No - if you are looking for a get rich scheme, asteroids are a much better source of wealth.

Pork

PS.  So, is she a "lime jello, chilli dog and fries" or a "mixed green salad with walnuts, pears, gorgonzola and balasamic vinagrette" kind of gal?  Just curious...

And are you sure it has an extra proton? Are you sure it's 3 protons and not 3 neutrons? Because if you change the number of protons in Helium then by definition, it's no longer Helium. An Isotope is an atom with the right number of protons but a different number of neutrons.

Oups!

You got me there. It's true, it's a neutron.
