the best review of SOF i ever read was in i think it was PC Zone (UK) it was hilarious.
and i have to agree ghoul made sof special in a way no other game has been.
it was just diabolicaly fun to shoot of legs with the shotgun and see them hopping arround

well i for one would not pay hard cash to play online warfare...
just as i wouldnt pay hard cash to play WoW or anything of the kind...

dont you pay if you are in a clan?  the clan have montly costs otherwise the clan not exist man, they rent servers and host

if no one pays Sof2 servers then you don't have multiplayer just you and your bots  

ive never been in a clan...

ok its just a gametype way different then other games
and becouse i like sof2 ... sof3

do you knows any game (exept sportgames) where you start in your country  where you can have a map of your hometown and war against your neigbour village? and conquer new maps? explore other country's and villages,

obsession with money??? well are you the mapcreator of your city, i think if you not that person you let it do by professionals becouse its there  job to do... they have to be payed so why we can't win our money back that we spend?

The day Raven (Activision) starts to charge a fee to play a game like SOF online is the day I find another game to get into, an I believe I speak for the whole community on this besides you.

i played EVE online and after few weeks you have to pay for your key and i also quit its not ..besides.. me.  paying for nothing sucks but for retrieving somthing as return and building on a global FPS game that only can grow its for me an idea and for realising somthing like this your community have to come up with ideas or let it hapen by activision, ea or whatever... they have maybe 20 persons thinking a few years for bringon somthing new
