when i go on sof 1 multiplayer and click on join a serve5r there are no servers on the list. is this just because noone plays it anymore or is there a problem with my game/connection?

what version of the game are you trying to run ? current version is 1.07 F if you need info on how to patch your game to the latest version please look here http://www.planetsoldieroffortune.com/sof/tech/

Installing an Older Version of SoF and Upgrading to 1.07f (Platinum) 1) Install Soldier of Fortune as indicated by the instructions. Do not run SoF. 2) If your version of SoF is lower than 1.06 (Gold), download and install the http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=50732 Gold Patch. Do not run SoF. 3) Download and install the 1.07f or http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=62361 1.07fbeta (Platinum) Patch, as well as the http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=64076Platinum Map Pack. 4) Run SoF and enjoy.
