From this months Empire Magazine

...you'd expect Foxs Alien Vs Predator to be chockfull of nasty, wall-to-wall violence and gore, right?  Wrong.  "We want a PG-13", executive producer Thomas Hammel told The Insider on the Prague set.  Which means the film is likely to be a 12A/15 over here (GB).  "Its horror, its thrills, its gore, but not blood splattering the walls.  Ratings have changed.  Im not sure Alien would be an 18 now."

What is a movie with Aliens without Alien blood spurting everywhere, DAMMIT!

in the Uk you'd be allowed alien blood splattering the walls and still get the 12a/15 certificate. human blood would be a different matter though.

That suck. Alien and Predator are both movie with gore... We are expecting this and more in a "versus" version.

yeah, although i dont think  alien blood is going to corrupt a teenagers mind and i belive it should be up to the parents (as long as it aint insane violence and stuff like that) as to if the kids can see the movie or not

At some point in the past we got some parents not understanding fantasy and then we ended up with insane film ratings, blame the parents :p

Personally, I don't like seeing too much blood and gore... I mean there's a point where it's just sick.  Just my opinion, anyway.
