Dreamcatcher has now released a multiplayer demo for Painkiller after having put out two single player demos over the past weeks. For 137Mb you will get yourself two maps, two modes, four skins (hehe) and updates included since the latest game patch. Where can you get it? 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, Computer Games Online, FileFront, Filerush (torrent), FileShack (registration required), Gamer's Hell, Loadedinc (registration required), and Worthplaying

I ran around in the MP maps of Painkiller. I really like the architecture of these maps. Don't know how the SDK is though. Haven't opened it up.

Lisen here guys: I have Painkiller Single player DEMO on 230 Mb that i downloaded from 3D Games and its not working... During the instalation i get this message: ''Error while decompressing file c:/program files/ painkiller sp demo/Data/Sounds/actor/leper/leper-walk-voice3.wav ,err= -7'' What does that mean, how to fix it, PLEASE HELP, i have 64k modem and it took me 10 hours to download it, i hope that it isn't 10 hours spent for nothing PLEASE HELP THX

hmmm... Then I shouldn't suggest that the download may have been corrupt because I don't want to make you wait another 10 hours for it. Bur that's all I got.

During the download you probably lost a byte or two of info which will cause a corrupt file. 10 hours whew. Sorry. About all I could suggest is to have someone with broadband download and burn for ya.

I just downloaded it. Am installing it now, it already said I didn't have enough ram lol 348 I only have 256, but I'm installing it anyways yeah it ran pretty slow but the graphics and level design were nice... but I don't like that kind of FPS like quake etc... u can give me more realistic games like sof2 :)

At least you can install it, i cant even do that fuking thing! I guess i'll just have to wait for a computer magazine with CD to get out with that demo on it, last thig i can do :evil: But anyway THX for trying to help guys i appreciative it

Surely you know someone with enough bandwidth to get it for ya. Lots of times I have seen other game demo's in stores.
