I need some help here. I had purchased SOF2 a while back and have been playing it since but I just recently had to reformat my PC and I updated all my drivers but I keep recieving this message:

What does this mean? It happins in SP and MP.

I think it means that sof2mp config file is missing thats y could not load

No s*** Sherlock. I have installed the whole 2 CD game that I bought from the store and installed update patches but I am still getting the same problem. It may be possible that the game might not be installing this critical file.

Can you check for the cfg file in your SOF2 dir.
can you run WISER2 to ensure that the install is ok.

Well the same sh** happens to me, i think my Discs are scratched and don't copy the entire files...
Some ppl told me dat was a Video Board Driver issue...
PLEASE HELP ME! IM VERY BORED I MISS SOF2!

if I'm not mistaken they are getting help or are you blind? Any ways chill..normally the reason that the default.cfg doesn't get executed is because the pak file that its in...didn't get installed for some odd reason or the pak file has a crc error and can not load...ether way its normally solved by copying over the needed pak file.

The base folder should have the following files and file size's:
