Ubisoft have now confirmed that Splinter Cell 3 will receive it's official title - Splniter Cell 3: Chaos Theory Still no release date given however roumer has it that they (Ubi) might try to get the PC and XBox version out on the market by Christmas this year. Cheers

I just read this news. This game is going to be awesome... and you will definitely agree with me if you liked the first release too. I can't wait to hang from a pipe and break someones neck or sneak up behind someone and slip my knife up their belly. Or how about playing coop and helping your mate climb over a high wall or lower them down a shaft with a rope. (uhm... in the game of course) I had a chance to see this game at E3 and it looked really good.
