I can't play SOF i install it fine and try to run it but i keep getting a illegal error message someone PLZ HELP

Please Display your computer specs along with game version if possible! also do you know the whole message you get ?

i don't know what version it is i know it's the orignal game and i have a HP pavilion celeron 566 256 ram 20 gigs i don't know my video card how could i find out my SOF version and video card

Thats the message i get word for word it's in the same kind of box as a illegal error message

I see, Believe it or not your graphics card plays a big part on games but i find it very rare that its the card.

You can find all your system spec by right clicking my computer then going to properties.

once you are there you will see your ram, operating system, processor and speed of it ect.. then once you got all that go into your hardware tab (you should see hardware at the top) then click device manager.

You should now see display adapters click on the plus so it will list your graphics card.

what it shows below is your graphics card.

Also did you try restarting your computer like it said?

yes i have restarted and reinstalled many times

as of many things can be causing it.

THX dragonfly i got it running but the graphics are BAD i guess i need a new video card

I do believe its your graphics card but what you can do is put all the grapgics to low or very low that may help smoth your gaming out!
