in the tutorials section of this web site. it says to get the xmodel list u need to extract the pak0.pk3 file in the CallofDuty/Main. ok i found the file but how do i extract the pak0.pk3 file to see the models.

The File extention pk3 is just another type of compression that the game engine sees and understands. All you need to do is use WinZip or WinRAR to extract the files. The easiest method would be to the following:

1. Make a back-up of the file first and save it in a safe location so as not to get damaged.

2. Change the file extention from pk3 to zip and then unzip the file.

3. In that new directory you'll find your x models.
