After some feedback I have changed the textures drastically and mainly focused on jor1 textures, plus resizing the red spawn and overall this should make the map alot better.

This is 1.-01 release and it can always have some bugs, send the request or feedback to comcarl@home.nl

For some players it could be that the map is dark or too bright, this probably has to do with the settings. I mainly need feedback about FPS and tactical play on the map.

Hi [CB] Comm [smokin]

I'm new around these parts, but came across this thread and downloaded the map....had a quick scoot round and it looks pretty cool....FPS was about normal for my machine....between 50 and 90 (dunno if thats good or bad lol)...but the map sure looks like it could be fun on CTF :)

Well done m8...any tips for a noob? lol

Well the FPS can be better and I am working on that in my updated version.

Well and the tips I can give:

- Make the map with 1 textureset (or at least 80 percent of your map). Load a textureset of Jordan or Finca and then only use those textures.

- Don't make the map too big. !000 by 2000 is an ok size.
- Don't add too many models in the map
- Caulk the walls that the player won't see since that increases the FPS.
- Make sure you have 4 routes on your map. Thats how I made mine. I first start with 1 section of the map and in the end I have 4 different sections. (left, left/middle, middle, right). This way you have created four routes for both teams.
- Compiling, first BSP Meta and then light faster. That creates a good BSP file with a good quality. (don't forget to add light to the map with rightmousebutton on the grid and selecting light)

Shortkeys are very useful. When you make a brush you can select 1 side using Control + Shift and select that side of the wall.

There are many things which I could say, but the map you saw was my first map and it took me aroun 80/90 hours in total.
