hi all

I have just got SOF2 adn have patched it to Gold edition. I have read on various SOF2 forums about entering in console commands to show frame rate and to set max frame rate etc/

When I try to enter these commands I just get the unknown command message! Please help.

these are the commands....

cg_drawfps 1
cg_crosshairgrow 0
cg_maxfps +

I have tried entering these in for ages, I have tried in in capitals and so on. Can anyone help me?

Why don't you manually add them to your sof2mp.cfg file.  You can edit the file with Notepad.  This is what you will want to add...

seta cg_drawFPS "1"
seta cg_crosshairGrow "0"
seta com_maxfps "85"

Change the above values and you need of course.  If you play several different mods....you will need to add these to EACH config file.

This is probably not the place for this. But I don't see a spoiler forum, so oh well.

On the console command "cheat" lines, there is a specific command line for the console that calls this:

Spawn Indicated Item:  give <item name>

Now the $64,000 question.

What are the exact "NAMES" for item name? Is there an accessible list in the folders for these?

I have not found an INI file that delineates these. OK, maybe I didn't look that hard but I did look.

I tried "give all" in SP mode, though I am not too awfully excited about some of them.

If running the RMG, which I play for most of the time, one does need "all", one only really needs a few "special" items  :-)

It would make it easier to get specific weapons or health or armor without loading up the game cache.

Thanks.
