these are the settings for low from the asset2.pk3 they may help

Quote

set s_khz 11
set cg_VariantSoundCap 2

set r_picmip 2
set r_lodbias 2
set r_detailtextures 0
set r_dynamiclight 0
set r_flares 0
set r_subdivisions 20
set r_lodcurveError 500
set r_lodscale 4
set cg_shadows 0
set cg_marks 0

set r_texturebits 16
set r_colorbits 16
set r_depthbits 16

set r_surfaceSprites 0
set r_weatherScale 0

set r_noportals 1

either enter via console or
Copy paste in a text file and save as low.cfg into JA's GameData\base directory then in console type exec low.cfg and it will change your settings (this should IIRC stay in effect only until you restart, changing set to seta will save settings to the standard cfg file as will if using seta in console

Thank you for helping, but it didn't make any difference, there was a list of commands that helped me alot before I reinstalled the game, they made my fps 2 times better, I'm hoping the person who posted them before will post them again.

yeah i know what to do :)

r_subdivisions is the graphic detail. The default is 4 (highest level of graphics) the lowest level of graphics is 80, so just set it to 40 or something.

r_picmip is the texture detail. 0 is the highest, while 16 is lowest (i think) if you set it higher than 6, your game looks aweful though :( sort of like a cartoon.

If you haven't download the patch (V1.01) download it and it has some improvements, plus if you turn aniscropic filter down, along the shadows, dynamic lighting and wall marks, and get the latest video drivers for your video card, you should be ok.
