can anyone tell me if when you make a map and your trying to make it cft and inf gametypes...when you select gametype>gametype_player can you make it so that ctf players spawn 1 place and inf players spawn another or will it stay blue in blue and red in red..... im not very good at describing so work with me

Yeah that's totaly possible... When you are putting in thegametype information into the spawnpoints, just leave off the ctf flag and add a new gametype_player with just the ctf flag
