Hi ive installed goldrush but if i want to connect to a server it says: Bad ui system trap:179 What the hel must i do???

I hate those stupid "Bad ui system trap" messages - I have no idea what causes them! What version of SOF2 are you running? I'm assuming Goldrush needs patch 1.03, or the very least 1.02 - I'd say 1.03 though to be safe. Do you have the correct version of Goldrush for the server you are playing on, and did you download the full Goldrush, not a upgrade patch? Try deleting Goldrush, then "reinstalling it". As I say, I'm really not sure what causes those "bad ui" messages. Ark

That error has nothing to do with Goldrush... SOF2 and other mods "suffer" this error as well. Not 100% sure what is causing this but i think i have read somewhere that it has something to do with a bad uninstall/reinstall of SOF2. So my question is: did you uninstall the game in the past??

most of the time it just happens when someone wants to play a mod that needs gold and they don't have gold installed...we got questions like these zillions of times
