I use a funny key mapping setup and need some help.
I use the left CTRL and ALT for strafe left and right and I use SHIFT to jump.

I have never had problems doing this before, but my PC took a grenade and I just built a new one (so to speak) new OS install on a new HD, with a new Nvidia 5950, new MB and new memory.

Now when I use the ALT key for strafing to the right it gets hung up and wont stop moving to the right until the ALT key is pressed again.

I have researched "sticky keys" issue everywhere and havent found an answer on how to fix this.

Has anyone else ran into this situation?

How to fix it?

I've always used Ctrl and Alt, never had any problem. If you've got an MS/Logitech keyboard it's wise to install the drivers that come with them, might make a difference... since it happens to all keyboards it must be a software issue...

Baboo: yeah, funny I agree. Tries WSAD a few times but never liked it... using Ctrl/Alt I have easier access to the whole region from Q to C/V... matter of personal preference anyways. I think there's already been a thread about this, but couldn't find it. I use the right mouse button to go forward and shift to go back. A/Z to jump/crouch, mouse thumb button for secondary fire. The rest is pretty standard... and no, I've never pressed the Windows button. Alt-Tab is more common (Tab for the scoreboard), but SOF2 doesn't respond to that if I'm correct...
