I've read all there is on this forum but it won't help...The game works just fine when playing without punkbuster but when I try to play on servers with PB the game/system locks up completely and I have to reboot it the hard way. I've installed all updates to the game and punkbuster. What happens is that I sometimes get to play for a few minutes before it crashes but most of the times I don't even get to start playing.

My questions is:

What can be wrong(I removed all extra pk3's and all of that, installed the game multiple times and so on)?

I'm not logged in as Administrator on this machine, can that be a problem for punkbuster? Without pb it works fine...??

I grateful for all your answers and help.....I really want to get this to work, don't want to play against cheaters...  :s9:

thanks in advance!  :)

Have you tried downloading the pweb.exe from Punkbuster and running it? A lot of people had problems with the latest update, but once they were updated all is well again.

Punkbuster is scanning the Opengl.dll file in the windows system folder. If you change the video drivers to older ones, you should no longer have any problems.
