ok, i have installed SOF2 before on this same computer and got it to run perfectly MP and SP, but this time, when i start up MP, it wont desplay all of the servers does anyone know why? and if so, can you help me?! cos i really want to get into the gaming aspect again! Thanks

It doesn't display any servers, or not all of the servers? I assume you're on the gold version 1.03, with updated punkbuster. And have you tried the wiser program to be sure of install? And you've checked your connection options in the menu...

You can TRY to use some xtra masterservers... i use these ones myself: seta sv_master5 "194.251.249.103:20110" seta sv_master4 "195.149.21.15" seta sv_master3 "master0.gamespy.com" seta sv_master2 "clanservers.net" seta sv_master1 "master.sof2.ravensoft.com"

thanks godh but the masters didnt work either; arkhos, no, it doesn't display ANY servers what-so-ever so annoying! And yes, i am on 1.03 Gold PB updated 2 so i dunno!

and i still cant see any servers. i tried to uninstall completely, install in its normal location on c:\ and updated it again but no joy. still cant see any servers. can anyone help?!?! lol, i really want to get playing again

the master servers list is only used by servers, it does not change anything for the client. its not possible to get a server list from the others anyway.

did you run the wiser2 program? (if not it's in the forums here) Are you behind a router or firewall? Do you have Norton Anti-virus running? If so turn them off.

I would go with the firewall part. If you have recently reset or updated your router, it may have defaulted and blocked the ports you need.
