Christmas came early!

For the love of GOD! If ANYbody knows ANYthing about this server... AVOID this server!! This server is notorious for banning good (HONEST) players.  I've seen it happen countless times. And I have discussed this with various, prominent, respected players. I'm new to this forum, but have been playing SOF since its inception.  For absolutely no reason other than my 49/6 ratio (I assume) I was banned.
I tried posting on their forum concerns regarding the "filtering" of good players to artificially create a competitive environment comprised of noob players on the server, in efforts of boosting admin stats. ETc etc. OF course my posting was promptly censored and username banished.

Be aware!  If you are a serious player... avoid this server.

Anyways... Hi!

I don't recall who you are, but I'm sure you were banned if you say so. That being said... People seem to gravitate towards the puffing-of-the-ego when they're banned. "They banned ME because they're ghey noobs who couldn't deal wit my l33t skillz!!" However people choose to phrase it, I've always enjoyed it. I'll have to assume you and I share the same definition of the word "HONEST", You tossed the word out there like somehow it can be proven that phantom people you're dragging into this are indeed 'honest' and support your position fully! Indeed... Advertisers toss around words like 'love' and 'deserve' the same way, wholly meaningless really. Thx advertisers!!


You must have spent alot of time on the server to witness "countless bannings"... and in all that time of *witnessing* YOU, yourself (being so good a player) managed NOT to be banned! Well, until you were banned.


Did these players have certifications to their 'prominence' and level of respect in the gaming community. I myself have never reached so high a standing.


I must have just viewed that post as blatant trolling, I'm cynical that way... I don't recall such a post actually. But you WERE then summarily "banished" with all the pomp and drama of a biblical epic!!


I was a "serious player" too. And being a serious player I setup my OWN server so I could shape the sort of gaming environment *I* enjoyed most. That's the benefit of ownership. You'd have zero concerns of being banned at such a point of ownership. The server we ran was populated by mature players who prided themselves on sportsmanship and manners. The type of players largely sick of rude kiddies and moms' basement 'professional gamers' who seek to demean others. We've all seen the type. We had three female admins - who played everyday - and they could ban whoever the hell they felt like *IF* that person showed even the slightest level of disrespect or in-you-face-poor-sportsmanship! I didn't really care, their word was good enough for me. We also had several career military types who certainly put up with no crap when it came to asshats online.

So take your pick! If you were banned for your 49/6 ratio that's fine by me. But being the sumbitch with the most well worn ban hammer of the bunch I can tell you it was probably something else.

Sorry it took 8 years for me to reply but now Google has the other side of the story.
