How many of you beat the single player on the most difficult setting? Come on, be honest. I want to know. I want to know how lame I am...

As I stated in my last post, after beating the game on Wuss, err, Amateur (way to easy...) difficulty, I went back for a run on "SoF" difficulty. Un-freaken-believeable! I can't get past the labs...period! I'm not implying there is something "wrong" with the game JUST because I can't hack it. It sure took all the wind out of my sails. I know, I know, I sound like a big whiner. It's either too easy or too much.

Those Russkies are the toughest pixel-opponents I've ever faced in a single player. Yikes.

I have overall enjoyed this game more than ANY other PC 1st person shooter, ie, MOHAA, RTCW, HL1, Call Of Duty, any of the Tom Clancy games. I've played and beat them all on the most difficult settings. SoF2 has kicked my ass. ####.

I think I finished SOF2 on the hardest setting, I play all my games on the hardest setting. I'm not much for replaying a game on hard after beating it on easy or medium.

I finished it on SOF difficulty, the hardest part was Columbia. As long as I can see the enemy I don't think it's all that hard. Just make good use of leaning and you'll finish it. Might be after trying it a couple of times but it's possible.

Whatever the hardest setting was, that's the setting I used and I beat it without too much trouble other than Columbia.  The Columbia stuff was the hardest because those rebels were very difficult to see.

This is interesting. I found Columbia to be fairly easy, with the exception of taking out Mr. V's right hand man in the cellar. That took a few tries until I figured it out.

This is just a general observation. This happens in any kind of board, no matter the subject. Here I am asking specifically about the single player and the MP'ers are going to start to bring their "SoF has a SP? nyuck, grfaw, snicker, etc,..."  What's the deal with this? Oh, and for the record, the MP part of a game is important to me.

Are we talking about the same colombia? It was really frustrating when enemies would see me while I didn't even spot them yet because of all the grass. Also the nades raining down on you can be tricky when you don't see where they drop.

I remember that the lab was pretty annoying too, that's kam1 in the mp maps, right? There it was hard to see enemies too because it's really dark, but if you're careful and know where the enemies are it's possible to kill em all.
