Wazzup everybody, My asus geforce fx 5200 is wrong detected is detects it as geforce 1 when i start a multiplayer game the visualisations of the walking character looks like a hedgedogg with pins all out of it.The game works good but i don`t know if there is a update for this video card i just downloaded the newest nvid driver.donno what the prob is. Greetz from the tohr.

i wouldn't get the newest drivesr from nvidia... lol, they make shitty drivers i think the older ones are less cheating like and friendlier for not being detected as driver hack

Dont get that card, I heard it's almost the same as the Geforce 4 MX series and I'm really in need of a new video card!!!

I've always been a Nvidia fan but the last two cards I got were ATI. Right now you you can get a 9600 pro for $80 ...or a 9200 for $46... (actually, I have some cards ...high-end ATI and a Winfast A250 ultra... gathering dust but I don't want to break any rules by turning this forum into a barter fest). Nvidia just ain't cuttin' it right now and actually next year will be a shift away for agp any-hoo! http://www.pricewatch.com/

If you're looking for a relatively cheap card then get the 9600pro, I'm personally seriously considering buying the 9600xt which isn't outrageous in price either. AND you get Half Life 2 with it. .... that is when the game comes out.
