Ta Mark. The bind was overwritten. So I unbound mouse3 as it was it set to my shotgun (group 3). I tried \exec autoexec.cfg again which still didn't work. When I typed \bindlist again mouse3 didn't display as: sens changer.cfg, but i spose it wouldnt say that anyway. Know any other tricks I could try?

Could you give some more information? "sens changer.cfg" is the name of your script as I understand it, what does it contain (exactly)? And how did you put that in autoexec.cfg?

In my: C:\Games\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix\base\mp. I have a file called "autoexec.cfg" and 5 scripts, one of which is called: "sens changer.cfg" In the "autoexec.cfg" file I have a line which reads: exec sens changer.cfg. Here is the script: set msLow "set msCurrent vstr msHigh; sensitivity 2.4; echo Mouse sensitivity set to LOW" set msHigh "set msCurrent vstr msLow; sensitivity 4; echo Mouse sensitivity set to HIGH" vstr msLow bind mouse3 "vstr msCurrent" I have tried other key binds, instead of 'mouse3' like a number or letter, still no success...

actually if you would like to add me to msn: robz03@hotmail.com If possible I would like to alter the m_pitch setting from -0.014 (inverted mouse) to -0.0168 with the lower sens.

You might want to change it to: exec "sens changer.cfg", or rename the file to exclude the space... it might be causing the problems. You might also need to do a manual /bind mouse3 "vstr msCurrent" after loading SOF2, if a bind in sof2mp.cfg overwrites it. It should store it after that... as for the m_pitch, just use "...sensitivity 2.4; m_pitch -0.0168; echo ...". The semicolon seperates the commands executed in order, so you can add just about anything in that one line...

wow. works perfectly now with the two different m_pitch settings. I renamed the file to "sens.cfg", seemed to fix it straight away, without any files being overweitten in sof2mp.cfg I was just playing around with it for a few minutes, and already im slightly better. you just don't have the control over long distances with a higher sens, thanks for all your help!!
