sof2mp.cfg gets edited everytime the server starts(it's in /root/.sof2/base/ btw)

I tried putting these in the server.cfg:

seta sv_mapcycle mapcycle
seta mapcycle mapcycle
set mapcycle mapcycle

No luck, any other ideas?

The map cycle file and config file are both in the same directory.

These are the last two line in my config file. It looks like you may be missing the mapcycle file name. mine is ctfinf.mapcycle.
Try this format.

seta sv_mapcycle "ctfinf.mapcycle"
mapcycle

I see you are running 1.0, I've had nothing but seg faults no matter how i configure.  Seems to be incompatible with Mandrake 8-9.2... sucks too.  What distro you running?

Eh, it didn't work . . .

I changed the server.cfg to make it look for ctfinf.mapcycle

Then, I made 3 mapcycles(same file) in the following directories:

/home/nec/sof2/base/
/home/nec/sof2/
/root/.sof2/base/

Any other ideas?

OK, check your basic set up. This is where everything should be.
I know that you installed in a different directory, so just map below to what you have. If you are set up correctly then we can at least rule that out.
This does include PB structure, but mine is off for now. And, I don't run any mods.
