You're right...when I refer to gametypes, since all the maps support DM and TDM, I usually just mention the "special" gametypes (ELIM, DEM, CTF, and INF).  But I probably should have been clearer in my post...

to get your ip, open a command prompt and type: ipconfig
it will be there somewhere.

as for the match_fastrestart 0 <-- add it to your config.. seta match_fastrestart 0

If you're behind a router (which, from your first post, I assume), you can either find the IP in the router's control panel, or simply by opening this little page... or whatsmyip.com if I remember correctly, but I always use my own tool, which is why my script returns XML...


As for barn, my arena file (SOF2 Gold, right from the CD) shows only elimination (in update101.pk3). I was amazed by the statement that it supported DM (which is exactly what I'm looking for), as I had to decompile mp_barn before to be able to do that... but then the textures were all misaligned and I gave up...

I tried to run barn in DM by just using a modified arena file, but as the decompile showed, it only had spawnpoints for elimination (which meant instant death). This of course means that either I've overlooked something or your DM-barn is not included by default... either way, I'm very interested in getting barn to work in DM




...aaah, now I see. The readme does indeed show barn supports DM and TDM, but have you infact tried? Or looked at the arena file? I don't care what the readme says, could be a typo, so let's not get picky ;)

Varible is actually sv_mapcycle "filename.mapcycle", and there should be no action necessary your part.

When all else fails, rebuild the mapcycle.  I use sof2runner, works like a dream.
