I have a duel xeon 2.4 server with 1536mb ram and a 100mbit connection located in texas wich i run a couple ut2003 servers on. Its a windows 2003 server. I wanted to run a couple sof2 servers on it but cannot find a windows verson of the dedicated server to download. How can i set up sof2 on this server without having to send the server company the disks and having them install it?

thanks

Basically the server requires all the usual packages to be installed. Although you can set up the server and just copy it (it doesn't require any special installation such as registry keys to run), it's still gonna be a lot of data... but if you've got a good connection and FTP, you could of course upload it...

I've done it for almost a year no problems, no crashes and with Remote Desktop It's like I'm sitting right in front of it.  I've run SoF2 and various mods, Q3 and various mods, as well as JK3.

Do you need directX installed on the server for it to run properly? or a vid card?
