Why should pictures be more important than voices?  Had I met any of you over the phone, that is the first thing I would notice.  Ofcourse you don't just meet someone over the phone unless its like a sex hotline.  

One person here knows what I sound like cause we met in person.  DarkKnight.  I have to tell you guys, I really hate my voice.  Maybe it is due to not being used to hearing what others hear, or being my own worst critic, but my voice sounds kinda low for a girl IMO...   I won't be hard on myself about my face.  I guess I got an ok face, maybe even cute to some people.  but I don't have the voice to match I think!

I think I realised this when someone came to me asking if I could record some short lines to be a generic female character in their Elite Force mod.  But, I'm really not a voice actor, not in the least... I couldn't get the right sound of the lines IMO.  Even things like 'excuse me' 'can I help you?' sounded so dumb to me!  I couldn't finish the job cause people are home too often and would hear me, or make noises, or what have you.  But in addition, I didn't want to do it for fear they may respond back and tell me they're not what they're looking for, or find that in the mod, they made my voice sound higher by using sound editors.

So I want you guys to hear me.  I may upload the few Elite Force clips I did.  I want your HONEST opinion.  And DK, you heard me, please tell me straight up, is my voice bad?  If you didn't know what I looked like and only heard me, would you be afraid to meet me?  And does my voice match my face or not?

I wonder if we should have a voice thread so everyone can get the truth.  Then again, maybe not everyone was true in the picture thread either?  I know it sucks to be hurt, but sometimes lying is the worst thing you can do for people when they want the truth.

As long as a girl doesn't have an overly deep male sounding voice, or a super high-pitched annoying voice, I don't care.

Interesting idea, anyway.  I don't have anything to say, though.

I did a "radio" show a long time ago here so people may remember my voice.

No1 has a "bad" voice.  EVERYONE has a different sound of voice, there aint really a proper way to sound for males/females.  Anyway, I sounded kool in the "tidbitnibbly" clip ;)

Just cause you don't use it doesn't mean your voice isn't there, but anyway, everyone hates the way their voice really sounds like, because it's so unusally, we don't think we sound the way we do because we hear something differant everytime we talk.

I hated my voice till it changed. lol

It would be kinda interesting to hear everyone's accents, since they don't really come across in text...  Well not usually.

Whenver I record my voice and then play it back it sounds a lot different to me than when I just say something from my mouth.  Nice idea tho.
