Fileshack has the patch up and im in line to download it but no patch notes. anyone out there can direct me?

umm, ASE notified me 1.01 of ja is out..11.64 mb :P cant seem to find much anywhere else on it atm. Well, hopefully all these threads can now be closed about releasing the patch, but will bring in a whole list of new whingers :S :P

There is a patch going around. I'm assuming its real. It seems to be working for everyone except me. Can I post my issue or am i jumping the gun

As of ~2:22 AM, Fileshack has a "Version 1.01 patch for Raven's Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Unknown changes." Does anyone know if this is legit? I don't believe I saw anything on Raven's homepage. http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=4063

It's also on LucasFiles now but here's the bummer that I've discovered this evening after updating my client with this patch: It's for clients only or servers running the retail client and it doesn't patch the 1.00 dedicated servers. (I have a game farm with lots of Win servers.) So this means... Your nice and new 1.01 patch uses a later protocol and you can't use it to connect to all those dedicated servers running an earlier protocol and us games hosting companies can't upgrade to 1.01 servers yet. Hopefully they'll release a new jampded.exe to go with the 1.01 patch very soon. Until then don't install it is my suggestion!

I tested it out and any custom skins and models I had from Jedi Outcast did not work with this patch. It makes the game crash!!! I'm thinking that perhaps this is a leaked Beta patch and they don't have the JO/JA model converter written in it... I guess?
