but things other than the header can be corrupted. anyway it really doesn't matter, the bottom line is that xp has trouble copying large files from a cd and there is nothing raven can do to fix that than what they already have (with the wiser 2 install checker)

I don't see a problem with Raven making it. If ID were'nt to make it, I'd rather have Raven do it. Iv'e been happy with the last games they made like JK2 and SOFII. Raven is probably one of my favorite companies beside ID. Besides, It is being co-developed with ID, ID has the last say over what is in the game. Really I think Quake4 is going to kick *ss.

jim hughes, who made the kamchatka levels for sof2 is the lead level designer for quake4 so the maps will rock.

Yeah the SOF levels do rock, I love playing "the Storming of Columia" one online and "Prague streets", did he make those?
