I've been playing SOF2 networked for quite a while now but its only until recently that I've been able to play online due to now having a much faster connection. I've got a few questions that have been bugging me:

1) Is there an offical web site to see your stats? When playing online are your scores recorded anywhere in some sort of league?

2) What the best site for downloading extra maps? Some of the games I try to join won't let me as I don't seem to have the correct map.

3) Can I host my own game for others to join? I know how to do this networked by not online.

2) http://www.sof2files.com (may be temporary down as they are updating the servers)
3) yes, should work basically the same as for LAN, but then dedicated to the internet (but watch your bandwidth). I also suggest to read this in case you have a router and you cant find your server on the internet (usefull info about ip-forwarding).

1. There is a site called CSports.com or summin like that that tends to keep stats. Problem is, they're innacurate as #### and dont give you a lot of information. For good stats you have to hope the servers you visit have a stat page.

2. www.soffiles.com They have just about everything.

3. You can host a game, but depending on your connection its going to be laggy as ####. To properly host a game you'd be better off IMHO to go rent a server.
