just curious, been playing halo, but it still has some flaws that need to be fixed soon, otherwise itll get shelved soon. now that hl2 and d3 are delayed, dont know of any games coming up that are supposed to be out for the holidays....

call of duty, Max Payne 2, Halo (hit and miss, try the demo, some love it others hate it) Deus Ex Invisible War, Unreal Tournament 2004, Lock On Modern air combat, that is all i can think of right now.

have you looked at max payne 2, it rox, solid gameplay, good story, nice graphix.

yeah, the big problem i have with halo MP is the client prediction sux azz. youll run up to one of the warthogs (jeep thingie) and try to get in it when it stops, but once you get up to it, it warps to 10 feet away from you (where the sever says the hog really is), so you are standing in the open with your thumb up your butt trying to get into a non existent vehicle while the baddies are shooting at you

Oh, right, yeah I've been playing it since the day it came out. I was thinking more in terms of games that aren't out yet (even though Call of Duty shipped today).

yeah, halo sp is the first sp game in years i actually finsihed. if you can find a really low ping server with low numbers of peeps it rocks. i can see it working well over lans. i love using the needler in mp, looks cool, sounds cool, and is pretty deadly if your target isnt moving around too much....

just read the max paine 2 review at firingsquad, they kinda dissed it. plus im more into fps with mp which maxpaine2 doesnt have either of.

guess ill have to look into call of duty.... :s1:

oh, I have read a bunch or reviews that have praised it, plus I own it and love it. (and that is the review that matters for me )
