It's way beyond just play fixes...it's a matter of them not testing the game.  On any map in CTF I can take the flag and walk through a wall into a structure where nobody can hit me and sit there forever.

And I've still to see one LINK to where it shows, past or present, that LEC are the ones holding up the patch/update/fix.  Regardless of the legalities, it is Raven's responsibility to communicate to it's customers.

And I've still to see ONE SENTENCE from RAVEN to our community telling us what's going on.  They've had 2 months.

This is NO DIFFERENT than buying a product from a local establishment, and when you get it home it is malfunctioning, and when you call to see what/when/why they ignore you.  For two months.

The EASIEST thing for a company to do is communicate to it's customers.  Whether it's spin or true, it's communication nonetheless.  That's why everyone is so upset and leaving the game, because we are all being IGNORED.

Ignoring capitalisation of words that don't need capitalising. One thing everyone agrees on is Raven just isn't publicly communicating how they should be - saying that though this also comes down to legal issues. They can't go around saying "we're working on a patch but don't know when we'll be able to release it" without LEC giving them the OK to do that, the problem comes in if we find out Raven had the OK to talk about the patch and then did not.

Yeah, one rant thread so it's even easier to ignore cheated customers while laughing all the way to the bank!  NICE!

You missed the work sticky in there...means it would remain at the top. And they've seen quite enough threads by now, one is more than enough from now on.

Lets just think for a moment............IF it is LEC who are holding up a patch then maybe it is for a GOOD reason.  Perhaps LEC and Raven are working together on some serious changes to JK:JA multiplayer, taking into account all the GOOD points put forward in this and other forums.  This kind of thing obvioulsy takes time and loads of planning and effort.  The fact that it is taking a while might mean that they are looking at all aspects and views posted in this/other forums and implementing them into a patch.

I'm just thinking possitively.  With me the glass is always half FULL.  

For those who think Raven can say exactly when we'll get a patch your wrong it's down to what Lucas wants not Raven.
I.E. Lucas wanted the CDR not CDKey Portection (which is Activision's favoured method) and also didn't want PB support

These forums are here for chatting about the game and some feedback plus some additionl support to that provided by either Lucasarts or Activision (depending where you got it) which is the norm. It's a bonus to even have these as it took quite a bit of effort on Raven's part even to be allowed to have them and Lucasarts did resist for quite some time as the lucasfourms are the semi-official ones (we did nag the a few times to get this )


Ranting here is less likely to get a result than actually contacting Lucas directly as Raven passing on complaints 3rd hand doesn't have the same impact as you making a direct complaint about it (If you make the mistake of being rude I'd expect them to get binned though)

No I'm saying if they don't want to release a patch yet they won't as it's up to them when we get one or any information regarding it, that's just my view of it as I don't work for them and I haven't seen anything about a patch yet or any clue as to what it may or may not contain.

At your own admission you are not privy to any more information concerning patches that what we are, but in this quote

you kind of suggest otherwise.  I know this may not be the case but for me it sounded like you knew something or had heard something that the community didn't know about.
