I can't afford to play a multiplayer game that doesn't work correctly, has horrible support and terrible PR.

I love starwars games like this, but I wish another company would've designed this game (unlike someone to release a game as a beta and do stupid filtering of illegal servers that harms us who actually buyed it.)

If you wanted to filter that crap out, you should've did multiplayer CD keys. Personally, it's sad to see this. If I had my way I'd file a class action suit.

Still on Pay-as-you-go 56k?

And let's not forget it's more LEC than Raven causing problems. Go sue them :p

Wade what a stupid statement about the 56k....i must admit i have had few probs with the game but know a quite a few peeps who have!! He's right in what he says the PR machine who ever it is may it be LA or Ravens fault is a bit S**T aint it? At least they could let us know a date for the patch and the issues it will cover.

A bit of feedback would calm a lot of contention...in these forums.

Eh? a lot of people pay per minute for dial-up, nothing stupid about it when he said

See where I'm coming from now? He's already bought the game so it's not costing him anything to keep it so saying you can't afford to play multiplayer implies paying for either a) time online or b) bandwidth and bandwidth isn't a big problem for most home users now is it?

I won't be told my statements are stupid when they have foundations   :s8:

And yes feedback would be good, just saying Raven is causing the problems when it's LEC and their lawyers who are being so strict is wrong. Raven would have released at least 1 patch by now if they had been allowed but instead LEC hold back.

I was going to reply but I got distracted by Wade's avatar for five or six minutes and I forgot what I was going to say.

Does anyone know for certain that it is LEC that is holding back a patch ??.  If so then where did the info come from (link please).

As far as i remember, there were loads of posts flaming Raven about a new patch being needed then someone posts and suggests that it may be LEC's fault and you all jump on the band wagon.

Now that seems to be your 'official' response to the question "where is a patch for this game??" when really, there is no evidence to support what you say.

Bottom line,  LEC will never admit to holding back a patch (if this is the case) and Raven will never publicly say "It's LEC's fault".  With the community breathing down the necks of Raven and tarnishing a good reputation with all of these "Raven hates its community" claims, they are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

How about the $$ he's paying every month for the server rental??

Tell me exactly where you read this - post a link please.  Thanks.

Even if he isn't, Wade, aren't others paying such fees?  Oh, and maybe LEC is behind it, but I say it's the Illuminati.  I can't prove it, it's true, but I said it, so it stands.

Ever heard of believable evidence? Illuminati causing it...legal bindings of LEC on Raven causing it...wonder which one of those sounds the feasible one in realistic terms? Hmm...

Those who pay such fee's are allowed to stop any time they like, they visit forums and see that the in-game browser is faulty, they see the number of servers online when they use their version (if they don't visit forums). In the end if they choose to pay when it looks bleak online, it's their own choice and cannot complain about it.

Lets get some realism into posts and thinking.
