Does anyone know if there are plans to release a version of Soldier of Fortune 2 designed for use with a 64bit processor on the pc?... Or if one has already been released where I can buy a copy from, for delivery to the UK.

I would highly doubt a true 64 bit version will be built. However, 32 bit apps will run in 32-bit emulation mode with no problem on 64 bit processors.

um, well, lets just say the chances are none. i'm guessing that raven is no longer working anymore on this game and won't even release another patch so what are the chances for a 64 bit version

no chances as there isn't and won't be a 64 bit version of the q3 engine. the only 64 bit game engine in the next year or so will be the unreal engine as valve has said nothing on the subject and Carmack said that a 64 bit version of D3 would run slower due to the way the game is made. UT2004 will be 64 bit and ut tech will be so liscencees of the engine can incorporate the tech. AA already has a 64 bit linux version.
