Most current street people would have been otherwise institutionalized before the mid-1980's.
Then, politics came to play and a huge number of people were "mainstreamed." Also, at one time most people could be arrested for being in a town with no means of support.... in other words, being a bum.
Now, people sleep and soil themselves in libraries.... they openly perform body functions in doorways to homes and businesses..... (Anybody been to San Francisco within the last year?)....
Whose fault is all this? My opinion is the "do gooders" who emptied the institutions. People where kept safe and got regular meals. They also got help for addiction and emotional problems. Maybe it wasn't the best help; it was still help.
Should some punks with a camera be able to take advantage of this unfortunate situation.... NO! Don't buy the video. |

he's 100% right. These vets have emotional problems. Unless you're a vet with no problems at all then fu<k off TOAB you don't know what the fu<k you're talking about. My grandfather fought in WW2 and saw some crazy sh!t. He has flashbacks now and its the scariest thing for him and the rest of our family. SO FU<K you you ignorant peiece of sh!t |
