Map exploits!

Raven, plz fix the gay map exploits!... I found em now in 4 of the 5 ctf maps!.. OIY!.. I am now waiting to find one in the last (yavin).. and then I'll post some pics of all of em!

this is soooo stupid... if anyone uses these in pubs which is so easy to do it makes the ctf game so boring.

just wondering what exploits you are referring to; i only play ctf rarely so may not have noticed them, but i dislike exploitation so want to know it when i see it

All of them are behind the wall map exploits.. the worst is probably factory as you can hide inside pipe right next to flag stand making it easy to be invinsible because of wall shield and then easily get out to cap flag.. same with streets.
hoth has a huge no cap exploit.. hard to get out once your in wall... the exploit on bespin is very minor but still is behind wall. again as soon as I can find one on yavin I will post pics of them all. but if you see a person half in a wall or half out or if you spec someone and theya re behind a wall or you use force seeing and you know you cant get to them then its likely a map exploit.

oh, i see.  those are actually oversights in map making.  having done some tinkering with map making in radiant in the past, such exploiting is actually the result of not caulking a curve or having a bad joint or something similar.  this makes the wall basically like a hologram.  changing that would require raven to go in and update the map and somehow including the updated .bsp in the patch.

exactly.. or not realizing that a player can reach a higher level on the map to get past parts of the map the map maker didnt intend anyone being there.  of course they leave out walls and stuff if they think there is noone ever going to be there..

funny thing i heard the other day is that some beta testers for ja even found one of these bad ones on factory and told ja months ago back in June or July and they still didnt fix it.. even when they where given the information that it existed way before release!.. OIy!.. Raven plz.. plz.. its easy to make a perfect map..

Whoever made Yavin did a good job.. I have yet to find one on that map yet..
