I have Elite Force running again! Unfortunately, EFR is now down. When I start it, I get this: wglMakeCurrent failed GetLastError() = 120 - 1282 An unrecoverable error has occured. Would you like to edit Preferences before exiting QERadiant? What's that mean? And if I can't get around, then that earlier question I asked about text mapping is even more serious.

i'll never forget that error... I never found a way to get around it though. That was back in the day when i had my old PC with my old video card. I couldnt map till I got a whole new video card and then i didnt get the error. But you've mapped before right? Try reinstalling and updating your video drivers. If that doesnt work you may have to reinstall windows. That would only the the last resort move tho. Does anyone know the exact answer to this???

I've never had much luck with GTK... it ran for a bit and I liked using it but then it simply stopped working. Then radiant stopped working... Now I use Uber radiant and have had no problems. Can't uber radiant make maps for EF1 also?

Since I upgraded my system RAM I have no longer any problem with it and I really enjoy this program now And yes it can be used to make maps for EF1: there is a game toolbar (activable in the "View" menu) for that purpose.

However, when I use Uberradiant for some reason its compiler for EF1 doesn't work.
