There r many people who connect to my server and disconnect amost direct after.
The console says  something about bad or invalid pk3 files.
Is that typical for a pure server ? And yes, how can i set it to unpure ?
I have tried it with ' set sv_pure 0" but it says that its read only.

I am using linux : can you give the full code to start the server in unpure mode ?

yes its normal on pure servers usualy a corrupt install, wrong mod version, etc

u can make it unpure by adding
+set sv_pure 0
to the command line arguments, but its not recomended

They get the unpure client error because the osp you have installed for your server is different from the osp they have as a client.

All they have to do is download the osp from yours..which takes a few minutes.

With the osp being updated so often this happens all the time until ppl get caught up with osp versions.

As for setting it to unpure.

Edit the file you use to run your server... as it probably has the command   sv_pure 1   in it.

for mine I type at a linux prompt.... ./sofstart

so I would have to edit the sofstart file..as there is a line in there that says sv_pure 1

I believe that this overwrites the .cfg file.
