Has anyone had the program crash when trying to play the game?  Specifically, the program crashes and reverts to Windows XP.  I have the "latest" drivers from them and Lucas Arts is kind enough to research the problem.  Any suggestions?

runs fine on my GeForce2mx/GeForce3ti200/GeForce4 4800ti/GeForceFX5200 using detonator 44.04

45.23 has OpenGL problems with some cards with some programs ... different cards have problems with different programs.

Also you have to make sure your drivers support OpenGL 1.4 so older versions of detonator will NOT work.
DetonatorFX 50 is due out saturday, fixxes alot of the problems with the current drivers and even adds alot of speed to FX users (almost 40% in some cases).

the most stable Detonator drivers are Creatives, i'd strongly suggest if you want decent drivers to grab thiers :)

uhh, creative's are just nvidia's with a creative download site. The difference is that they only release the WHQL drivers, as opposed to all the drivers that Nvidia makes.

creatives drivers are just nvidia's drivers, you have to go to the european section to download them. if you wan't the best nvidia drivers go to omegacorner.com and get the omega dets, they are tweaked for far superior performance, quality, etc.

When using my FX5600 256mb PNY Verto card JA would crash my system so I had to hit the reset button to restart my computer. I had no problems playing any other games including Jedi outcast and UT2003. I'm using the 6.14.10.4523 drivers from Nvidea's site.
After replacing my FX5600 with an old GeforceMX 64mb with the same drivers JA runs fine. Also using DirectX 9.0b if that makes a difference.

I have a gf4 440 mx and I have had no end of problems with JA, I think the problem is in the "wonderful" opengl system but all I know is I spend money for a game and it crashes every time it loads...yes my system is totally up to par!!!
thanks!
