Got a real Prob Wit my Firemode !
It changes itself to single and reloads after each bullet on AK !!! Stuck wit it, to solve this prob, i must get my 2ndary weapon (shotty) fire 1 time reload wit it, and after that when i take back my ak, my firemode is ok (setted default to "auto")
Anyone got an idea

odd..  maybe check your key setup to make sure that your keys are not mis-bound. other than that.. reinstall or wiser 2?

on some versions (maybe all?) the firemode key is bound incorrectly. Sometimes it shows the bound key as OXOO or something.

Change it in your config to something out of the way.

If you read my post above, although you have

sometimes the game messes this up. I don't know why.
If you simply go to the OPTIONS in-game, and change the key from there, you should find it will work. I think you can then change it back to \ if you want and it should be ok.

I had the problem originally (when buying the game) and this was the only fix I could do (even tho my binds were the same as you for firemode).

there is also a glitch in the game that can cause fire mode to change for no apparent reason...it only happens once a week or so 4 me tho (my fire mode is bound to a remote area of the kb)

try doing it from the console:

hit ~ (or whatever your key is top-left of TAB) then type:

bind # "+firemode"

where # is the key of your choice.

Remember that there are different mods out there, and you will have a different config script,  so you'll have to change both scripts!

found the solution by binding my "reload" key to another one...
old was mouse  clickin on the wheel , i bound it to KP_INSERT
and it works fine thx 4 all GuyZ ;)

has anyone played in a server were ur just running around then all of a sudden u piont down or up , (not under ur control) and it changes ur fire mode, it happens to everyone on the server     its strange :|
