OK.  My system was "fixed" by uninstalling the Catalyst 3.7 drivers, removing the ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB card, and then putting in a Ti4200 128MB card with the latest nVidia drivers.

I hardly call that a fix at all, but that definitely points to something not working right with the ATi card and or drivers.

me got:

AMD 1800+
1024 RAM
120 GB HDD
Win XP pro
GeForce2 MX 400
SB EXTIGY

and i crashes to:
abnormal program termination in jasp.exe

got nvidia 44.03 XP drivers and with the newest nothing works
lolz or i have a screwed up system or RAVEN or LUCAS ARTS is just screwed up

I crash too with pIII 866, 390meg RAM, Nvidia 440Mx with driver 41.0

LucasArt says there IS an issue but no fix available yet, I get Random termination during loading screens :O

Well I'll keep you posted folks
