Just wanted to see what is going to become of the sof2 community very soon.

I haven't played SOF2 multiplayer or single player in at least a year, except for testing little mods I have made. It's a fun game, but it's time to move on to another engine and try my hand at making some bigger hardcore mods in HL2. No more limitations and jack all support for mod makers with HL2 - we hope. Also depends on how Steam shapes up in the long run too.

I might pop in from time to time and see what's doing around here.

Will be getting HL2 but SOF2 will remain on my pc.  It's good to come back to it after a while.

HL2 should be good, so long as steam(ing pile of sh..) doesn't mess things up.

Will HL2 have a multiplayer mode thats like CS style of game play right out of the box? If so yeah it might take me away from Sof2 abit but I still think that sof2 weapons are by far the best in any fps genre game and thats what keeps me playing still.
