I thought it was pretty good. I love the new moves, especially the rolling lunges. Crotch stabbing ahoy!

I really like it.  I know some people say "oh it's just a mod of Jedi Knight 2" but I don't really care.  It's a really cool game, and that satisfies me.

I just love all together how the game comes in one line of it making sense! I mean in JO it did take awhile to get a saber. Plus lack of MP balance. SP was so easy, well.. Nuff said! Plus you go from one level right to the next. In JA, they give you the option to progress on your own. Choose the level you desire. Plus the many options from when you start off, what race/saber style/saber(s). Then when you are starting your missions. Your have the options of chosing new force. And weapons. Plus the new animations rule over JO.

Mod? I think not! This is supurior to JO and as merlin said in my topic post. Its a code off of SoF2 "BUT" far more rich and has its own better additions! JO was mearly a sample, In reality. A mod of SoF2. JA is its own real game. The one raven has been hiding from us. I dont wanna think they released JO for marketing purposes.  :s3:

Other then that.. I wish JO was never released! Why need it when you have JA!?!?!?!?!

I've been enjoying the new moves, like the dual saber Saber Barrier and the fancy forward flipping attack.

Count me in the pile of those that love it.

I hated it.

In case some of the developers read these forums, please note the following bugs:

1. You can do the sideways cartwheel-flip-whatever (single & dual sabers) also in midair. I don't think this is the way it's supposed to be. Just press and hold jump, and just before Force Jump activates, hit strafe left/right+attack, and the cartwheel is off.

2. After you do a cartwheel, tap jump key lightly just before you land. After you jump again, tap the jump key once in air. This will lead you to an interesting bunny-hop manouver, which existed in JK2 already. You can even direct yourself while in this "move" (press movement keys) and attack. I don't think this is very Jedi-ish either :)

3. When you have dual sabers, and activate 'saber barrier' move, you can use +left/+right to turn yourself around while doing the move. Also, if you put 'yawspeed' to a high enough value, you can spin around ridiciously fast. This was a common bug with backstab in JK2 earlier versions. :s8:

I hope these issues will be looked at and fixed before the official release. Otherwise, I will not pay the 40€ for the game before the first patch is out. If JK2 (1.04) was mostly free of these types of bugs, why didn't you use it's code base ? It looks like we'll have to go through several patches again before the game is as playable as JK2 is now.

Of course, these issues exist in the demo. I don't know if the official release has these issues fixed. But, being as sarcastic as I am, I believe they just might've slipped in... Tread carefully :)

JK 1.04 was the code base, it was then updated to SOF2 spec in several aspects, also 1.03 was the last sp bugfixes IIRC.
