yeah i know ure sayin that but it doesnt show me any file, thats what i mean.
ok i start wiser 2, then it analizes my system for 1 sec and then a window opens sayin something like: some files are installed incorrectly - and thats all, it doesnt name any file!

i mean there is no log file or somethin like that
i´m seriously startin to feel stupid  

the wiser2 window should have 2 progress bars (total and file) and the current file name above the bar, when the message box comes up informing u its not installed right move the message box to the side so u can see the window behind it and it should have a file name.

And clean your CDs before copying it over.

Yes, when WISER2 is checking the files, it shows you what file it is currently checking. If it gives you an error on that file being checked, that is the problem file (or one of them).

You could extract it manually from the CD if you don't want to reinstall.

ok it stops at my sofmp.exe, so my guess was right, its in my sof2 folder - not in base or osp.
now i asked a friend to send me his mp(gold)exe and ran it over... same crap as before !?

i´ll have to reinstall to get rid of it...

re installing may not get rid of the problem. but its worth a go.

remember to run wiser after you reinstall. make sure the CD is clean etc etc...

its gonna help, since the game ran perfectly fine till that day a couple of weeks ago when the problem occured the first time !
