I've tried the demo of this cool game but I'm having a bad problem. If I use push/pull AND move, the game freezes and sound continues in an infinite loop... WTF! Only solution is a hard reset. Same demo on another machine runs fine... To avoid the freeze I don't use push/pull OR I "take it easy", standing still while I use them... My specs are asus a7v8x, 512MB ram athlon xp 2100 (no overclock) radeon 8500LE (problem occours with both catalyst 3.6 and 3.7) sb live 5.1 player (latest drivers) I have tried switching on/off every single option. Shadows, gl extensions, everything. Every driver is the latest available, I'm really going crazy about this. I also formatted and reinstalled everything. Every other game, including JK2, works just perfect, except the only I'm interested in Any hint? Thanks Beus |

Looking at the Toubleshooting guide there is something about push but I'm not sure if that would cause a crash ATI Radeon 8500 and 9000 While playing the game with one of these chipsets is 16-bit mode, Force push may cause some textures to be very bright. Changing to 32-bit mode corrects this issue. |

Tried this also, didnt help Sometimes it let me use the push/pull while I move but it freezes after some seconds or after I do it several times.
Thanks for your reply.

Installed the demo on 3 different machines so far, and noticed that on the two machines that had Nvidia cards, no problems with crashing period.
Then came the adventure: Radeon 9800 Pro. Game crashes pretty regularly. Saw one post here mentioning a total system freeze loading the second level, and have seen that one, goes to an all blue screen which has in orange letters something about Mission Objectives Loaded or some such, and then freezes the whole system.
I'm guessing there is probably a bug, either in the current ATI drivers, or in the game. Wouldn't worry about it too much, as I'm sure either way it'll get fixed promptly once someone learns what's causing it.
We can hope that perhaps this bug is only in the demo. After all, I'm sure they worked hard getting the demo out the door so near the release of the actual game.
