I Have a 1.7 Ghz P4 with 512 Mb SDRAM running Windows Me and an MSI 5900 FX video card with 128 Meg of memory. Until I put this card in Sof2 worked just fine. I have the gold edition. Now it sees my card as a Gforce 1 and locks up at the mission load screen. I have re-installed the game, loaded the latest video bios and driver for my video card and generally pulled out all my hair. But so far no joy. Any ideas? :s8:  :s9:

I have this problem too, and basically it amounts to the fact that you have a vid card that was made after suport for sof2 was discontinued. the only thing i can suggest is alter your vidcard.cfg file (not sure of spelling but youll find it)

That config only runs once when you change video cards.

Just alter the settings to whatever you want and they will be remembered; no need to alter any files.

Cheers
